Happy New Year! Looking back at my last blog post, it appears I went into hibernation for the winter. I’ve been meaning to start this again for a little while, but it’s a little like going back to the gym after Christmas – it gets harder the longer you leave it. As I haven’t been to gym since October, you can see why this has taken its time and many half-attempts until now.

Leading up to Christmas I was feeling pretty low again and I started to lose interest in things I enjoyed – including this blog. I’ve been in what I call the ‘Nutella phase’- mainly because I’ve eaten copious amounts of Nutella over the past few months. It’s familiar, it’s comforting to a degree, but ultimately it’s not very good for me and it’s not really what I want to doing or where I want to be.

Luckily, I’ve had some lovely people around me who forced me to go the doctors and stop being stubborn about fighting it on my own. I have started feeling better recently and have a more of a positive outlook at the moment (and a lot less, well a little less Nutella).

Here’s to trying again in 2017!

Positive of the day: It has taken a good 3 or 4 attempts to actually publish something so I’m pretty proud of myself right now.
